European Consultant

UK Payments is recruiting for the position of a European Consultant in its Strategy division.

Reporting to the Head of European Developments you will analyse European payment-related developments from a UK strategic and planning perspective, co-ordinating and managing information flows and issues in liaison with key payment industry stakeholders. 

You will also provide Committee Secretariat support for Payments Council sub groups as required including UK EPC Group and the MSG e-Invoicing Group, facilitating discussion on a wide variety of topics.

You will receive exposure to many aspects of payment systems within a European context and will develop a high profile with Members, European associations, regulators and other stakeholders in the development of the Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA).  You will also have the opportunity to work with colleagues in a number of other units in UK Payments.   

This is a great opportunity if you are looking to further develop your analytical and payments expertise. You will have strengths in business analysis and written/verbal communication, an aptitude for quickly identifying the pertinent issues and the ability to understand differing stakeholder viewpoints.  You should also be highly organised with proven time management skills.
