Audit, Risk and Compliance Manager

UK Payments Administration is recruiting for an Audit, Risk and Compliance Manager to work in its Operations Division. This role reports to the Senior Audit, Risk and Compliance Manager and will play a key role in underpinning the assurance of two of UK Payments’ customer groups: CHAPS Co. and Bacs. These two Companies have their own internal risk and compliance functions, but source their internal audit from UK Payments to provide a clearly independent perspective of assurance.

This is a new role that requires applicants to have previous experience of operational and/or IT audits as well as a strong understanding of the concepts of Risk Management, Internal Controls, Compliance and Internal Audit in addition to an audit qualification. They should also have experience of collecting, analysing and evaluating information pertaining to risks, audits; and the subsequent preparation of written and verbal reports of work performed. Experience within the banking or payments industry would be advantageous. 

Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential as is attention to detail.  The applicant should also have experience of influencing others and be skilled in building strong relationships.
